Senate pushing back on taxes and comments
The Trump pick Stephen Moore is getting pushback from comments he has made in the past about women in the workforce and for a $75,000 federal tax lien filed against him in Maryland and findings by a Virginia judge that he was in contempt of court for not paying more than $330,000 in alimony, child support and other payments to his former wife.
The Senate approves the Fed nominees. If 4 senators disapprove, it is likely he would not be voted in (assuming that the Dems vote against him).
Moore also said that he expects Trump to nominate him for the Fed within 3 weeks.
Heman Cain ran into opposition before his official nomination and Trump choose not to nominate him.
