President-elect Trump announced the forming of a advisory group of CEOs and business leaders designed to offer input and ideas on how to speed economic growth and create jobs. The "Strategic and Policy Group" will meet "frequently" will be hheaded up by Steve Schwarzman, CEO of Blackstone group investment firm.

- Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors
- Doug McMillan, CEO of Walmart stores
- Ginni Rometty, CEO of IBM
- Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock
- Bob Iger, CEO of Walt Disney
- Jack Welsh, former CEO of GE
- Toby Cosgrove, CEO Cleveland Clinic
- Paul Atkins, CEO of Patomak Global Partner
- Rick Lesser, CEO Boston consulting group
- Jim McNerney, former chairman, president and CEO of Boeing
- Mark Weinberger, chairman and CEO, EY
- Adebay Ogunlesi, chairman and managing partner, Global infrastructure partners

I am a big fan of Steve Schwarzman. I also like the idea of having an advisory committee. On the negative side, the committee is short of technology which is a bright spot in the US economy -and will be going forward. Not having representation on the committee should be corrected.
