Picked up 3 Senate seats. May be 4 or may be 2

  • My campaigning stopped the blue wave
  • Vote is a rebuke of democrats in Kavanaugh matter
  • Some who did not embrace my help lost races.
  • Economy is booming like never before
  • I give Nancy Pelosi a lot of credit
  • Ultimately we can all work together next year
  • Looking to work with Democrats on infrastructure and healthcare
  • Deal making may be easier with a Democratic House
  • I appeciate Pelosi's comments about being united.
  • Now is the time for both parties to join together and put partisanship aside.
  • I'd like to see bipartisanship and unity
  • Democrats agreed that the wall is necessary
  • Can't commit to a government shut down scenario (on back of no funding for the wall)
  • Extremely happy with most of my Cabinet
  • Immigrants have to follow a process
  • We need immigrants to work at the businesses coming to the US
  • Had very good meeting with Putin
  • I thought it was very close to a complete victory
  • I really believe we have a chance to get along with the Democrats

CNN's Jim Acosta and Pres. Trump spar (as usual) on the "invasion" from immigrants. To be honest, the immigration issue before the election was an election talking point. It is what it is. I would not be surprised to see the rhetoric die down. The President calls it an "invasion". Jim Acosta does not like the term. Acosta was rude to the girl in charge of the microphone. That was uncalled for.

We will see if there is more cooperation now that the elections are over.
