Trump tweets about monetary policy
From the President:
"China will be pumping money into their system and probably reducing interest rates, as always, in order to make up for the business they are, and will be, losing. If the Federal Reserve ever did a "match," it would be game over, we win! In any event, China wants a deal!"
For the first time, I don't get the sense that China wants a deal but it's tough to see where each side's red lines are. Trump certainty has the ability to take a weaker deal and spin it as a big win. He won't want to see stocks continue to fall.
