Trump tweets further about the US-China trade situation
It's a series of tweets by Trump:
It keeps in tone with the general message over the weekend, where he's touting up how good the current situation is for the US and its consumers whereas the situation at hand works to the disadvantage of China.
There's just the added part on the retaliation this time though, which signals that he will be ready to escalate things further if need be. Reckon that won't bode well for risk assets if and when the time comes.
As mentioned earlier, both sides are headed towards some form of stalemate here where we'll see tariffs/retaliatory measures being taken up until the next phase of the trade war.
