Tusk says will appeal to EU27 to be open to a long Brexit extension

European Council president, Donald Tusk, comments in a tweet

His tweet reads:

During my consultations ahead of #EUCO, I will appeal to the EU27 to be open to a long extension if the UK finds it necessary to rethink its #Brexit strategy and build consensus around it.

One of the comments read "Hotel California". How apt. If anything, I'm not sure if this can be considered a good thing for the pound. May and the government will still keep trying to push forward with some variant of her deal and all that leaves us is further uncertainty for the UK economy.
