May feeling the heat from both sides

BuzzFeed's Alex Wickmam reports that George Eustice has resigned as agriculture minister in protest at Theresa May's decision to open the door to a Brexit delay.

"It is with tremendous sadness that I have decided to resign from the government following the decision this week to allow the postponement of our exit from the EU," he said in a statement.

May is truly between a rock and a hard place. When she tries to soften Brexit the euroskeptics quit, when she tries to push in the other direction the EU supporters balk. It's increasingly clear there isn't enough middle ground to get anything through parliament.
