UK Conservative Party spokesman out with a statement 2 June

  • complete speculation, rather irrelevant speculation before an election

Plenty of talk lately about fin min Hammond falling out of favour and due to be replaced should the Tories remain in power next week.

Latest rumours circulating this morning from govt sources of The Telegraph are that he will move over and current Home Secretary ( Interior Minister) Amber Rudd will take on the role.

It's not going to happen says the spokesman so we can almost certainly say it will. Should May be returned of course.

Meanwhile GBPUSD holding the test of 1.2850 and currently 1.2857 as EURGBP falls back further to 0.8721 from 0.8735 highs.
