Meanwhile, we're also hearing from UK chancellor, Philip Hammond, who says that he has had a "very constructive meeting" with his Labour counterparts and that he is "optimistic that we will find some common ground".

A lot of very general terms being floated here, in which they actually refer to more lack of progress in Brexit talks if you read between the lines. It doesn't look like we're going to be able to resolve the impasse any time soon.
