The first meaningful vote, back on January 15, was defeated by a margin of 202-432. It's tough to say exactly what was priced in for this vote but I would peg it around 240 votes in favour.

So this is basically right in line with what he had been hearing over the past few hours. It's a big defeat and means they need to get at least 50 people to switch their votes, which is a longshot.

Theresa May says there will be a free vote on a no-deal Brexit on Wednesday. It's probably the best for party unity that it will be a free vote but it's still going to be crushed.

There will also be a vote on Thursday ruling out a no-deal Brexit and extending Article 50.

Jeremy Corbyn said "maybe it's time we had a general election."

In the vote breakdown, 75 Conservatives and all 10 members of the DUP voted against the deal. If they were able to get 75 votes switched, they would have enough to pass it. It could also work with some combination of abstentions.
