There's some hints of cautious optimism that a deal or at least some breakthrough in negotiations will be coming along. There's roughly about 36 hours now for that to happen and to secure a November deal.
The pound is extending its gains on the day on the back of the recent headlines. GBP/USD touches a high of 1.2942 with EUR/GBP sitting near the lows at 0.8702 currently.
