- House prices +2.5% vs +3.4% 3m/y expected

That's a rather steep drop in house prices as the average price dips to £225,995 in September. That's the lowest price recorded since May this year. Likewise for the house price index as well. Not too encouraging a sign as it would seem that the softness in London's housing situation is becoming more apparent.
