UK September services PMI has come in at 55.3, up from 54.1 in August and better than the median forecast of 54.5. It’s the highest read since September 2007.
The data has given cable a lift, the pairing presently at 1.5975, little changed on the day. Inbetween though cable has seen fairly choppy trade, an early rally giving way to heavy selling pressure.
