Mike reported earlier that troop carriers had entered the town of Slavyansk. Further reports ay that the vehicles were under control of the Ukrainian army in Kramatorsk earlier today. Reuters reports suggest that some soldiers from a Ukraine paratroop unit have sided with separatists and they are the ones who have driven into Slavyansk.
The government has stated that the defence minister is off to Kramatorsk to see what the hell is going on.
All this to-ing and fro-ing is keeping the market slightly on edge but it’s not reflecting in prices as much as it was. If bullets start flying again then there’s going to be a bigger reaction.
