UK's Barclay: Brexit talks with Labour have been 'serious' and 'challenging'
Comments by UK Brexit secretary, Stephen Barclay
- Cross-party talks need to come to a conclusion
- Parliament will have opportunity to vote on withdrawal bill in the 1st week of June
I'm not going to hold my breath expecting for cross-party talks to produce any real compromise. As it stands, both parties are unwilling to move their red lines so there's really no point in negotiating unless one of them are willing to give in.
