Brexit
  • Wants to look at whatever deal might be reached with Labour party
  • Says "we need a compromise on all sides on Brexit"
  • Notes that he doesn't want customs union as long-term Brexit outcome

It's been nearly a month now since cross-party talks have began and we're no closer to getting a compromise now than we were at the start of things. There's still a lot of smoke and mirrors at play here as both sides are unwilling to move their red lines.

There's been plenty of talk about May potentially looking into a second referendum or general election as part of a deal but so far there hasn't been anything official or concrete. And with any Brexit debate in parliament still lacking, it looks like we'll have to settle in this comatose state until after the European elections are over and done with.
