Easy money extends to the mortgage market

US mortgages are generally 30-year fixed rates. They have now fallen to a record low at 2.78%.

Given that rates aren't going meaningfully higher for years and that higher US government spending is now on the backburner, the likelihood of a long-term boom in US housing is growing by the minute.
