US Ambassador to meet Taiwan's President on Thursday

I posted last week on the visit: US-China strains to increase as US confirms its sending its UN ambassador to Taiwan

Meeting Twaiwan's President on Thursday, which will anger China.

And, China will not be happy with this either (from the weekend):

• The US is to remove all of its restrictions on its relationship with Taiwan

There may be deliberate stoking of tensions with China from the US in order to distract from the domestic terrorism incident in Washington last week encouraged by Trump that is likely to lead to his 2nd impeachment:

• Pelosi: US House will bring Trump impeachment legislation to the floor
• Trump's 2nd impeachment will likely be this week, a conviction could take until mid-April
