Fiat/Chrysler gets the ball rolling

The US auto sales for October will be released today with Total vehicle sales expected to come in at a 17.7 pace.

Fiat Chrysler and Toyota are getting the ball rolling with their results. Fiat is reporting that sales rose 15% due to a 33% increase in Jeep sales. The analysts estimates was for a 13% increase (195,545 vehicles were sold). Jeep October sales were the highest since 2001.

Toyota sales rose at least 10% vs est of 8.5%

Ford sales are expected to rise by 14% and GM is expected to rise by 12%.
