US construction spending for August

The prior month was revised down to 0.4% from 0.7%. So Peter took from Paul it seems.

Nevertheless, residential construction it highest since January 2008. It was up 1.3% on the month. Nonresidential construction rose by 0.3%.

Private residential construction rose by 1.3%, while nonresidential private construction rose by 0.2%

Public construction spending rose by 0.5% vs. July. Public residential construction was up a large +3.5%, while nonresidential public construction rose by 0.4%

So although there was a revision to the prior month, the numbers looks pretty good for the current month.
