Sentiment expected to dip
The market is eager to understand how the US consumer is doing.
Earlier this week, US retail sales were on the schedule but they were postponed because of the US government shutdown.
Instead, we will have to make do with consumer sentiment data from the University of Michigan. The consensus is for a 96.8 reading, down from the 98.3 final December reading.
