US DATA: Initial jobless claims +2k to 439k in Nov 13 holiday and
employment survey week, below the 445k level expected and -16k from the
Oct 16 employment survey week. Nothing unusual in the data except Alaska
estimated. The Labor Dept analyst said seasonal factors expected a 10.2%
drop, or about 46,000, in unadjusted claims in the holiday-shortened
week. Actual NSA claims -10.0%, or -45,189, to 407,468. The Labor
analyst said that unadjusted claims would be expected to rebound next
week. Continuing claims -48k to 4.295 mln in Nov 6 week, low since Nov.
