I've mentioned earlier in the day in the calendar preview and just a bit earlier on, that the data point has been released already - so nothing too much of a surprise. The 104.9 reading is still relatively healthy and the average index reading in 2017 was 104.8 - the highest average on record.
Dollar strength is still prevailing on the day as EUR/USD touches session lows of 1.1925 while USD/JPY slips a little to 112.81, but the dollar is higher against the rest of the major bloc - barring the Japanese yen that is.
