The US dollar has a heavy tone as US trading begins to ramp up. The dollar rout turned into a rebound yesterday and that’s still fresh in everyone’s mind.
There isn’t much on the US calendar except a 10-year Treasury auction but traders will be looking to position ahead of Thursday’s retail sales data.
Outside of the buck, BOC Governor Poloz will speak at 11:15 am ET (1600 GMT) after the Financial System Review and the RBNZ rate decision is at 3 pm ET (2000 GMT).
