Globex trading, ES (emini futures on the S&P500) taking a hit
This is not helping nerves:
- Canada arrests Huawei's chief financial officer for extradition to US
- Canada has arrested Huawei's global chief financial officer
The mood overflowing into FX, AUD dropped a few tics, as did USD/JPY.
I can't see too much more freak out on this news item but it fits with the vibe of nervousness surrounding US-China relations.
