Soft finish yesterday erased
The S&P 500 gained 67 points yesterday in a good rebound from the rout on Tuesday. However the index shed nearly 30 points in the final 30 minutes of trading.
That blip has been forgotten and some brief selling on the initial jobless claims report has been picked up.
S&P 500 futures point to a 12-point gain at the open.
