Futures higher
The S&P 500 rose 18 points to 3453 yesterday and is pointed to climb another 15 points at the open. It would need to gain 30 points to wipe out this week's losses.
Shares of Intel will be a drag, trading almost 10% lower in the premarket despite a decent earnings report. Another company to watch is American Express, which is 3% lower after earnings.
