US November durable goods orders 0.8% vs 1.6% expected

The Durable goods for the month of November came in weaker than expected at 0.8%. The prior month remains at -4.3%

• Ex transportation, -0.3 versus +0.3 expected. The prior month was revised to 0.4% from 0.2%
• Cap goods orders nondefense ex air -0.6% per versus +0.2%. Prior month revised higher to 0.5% from 0.0%
• Cap goods shipments nondefense ex air, -0.1% vs +0.2%. Prior month revised higher to 0.8% from 0.3%

There is a lot of misses in the report with the data coming in weaker on the month. However the revisions did have an influence. Nevertheless, the trend is lower, month on month and the numbers are mostly weaker than expected - revisions included.
