Again, be cautious with comments from officials not on-scene, but the market is reacting to the comments from the chairman of the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The chairman says radiation levels are extremely high at reactor 4 at Fukushima as the spent fuel pool no longer has any water.
USD/JPY fell as low as 79.82 on the news.
Cable is back below 1.6000 and AUD has triggered stops below 0.9790 and trades now at 0.9770.
