The reopening of a 29-year, 11-month bond sold with a yield of 3.014%, which was about 0.5 basis points above what the market was expecting. Still it was the lowest since July.

Why would you buy 30s when you could buy 2s yielding 2.45%. Really, why would you buy either unless you were forced to.
