Trying to avoid an "Event"

The US Senate Leader McConnell is on the wires saying that:

  • Senate is trying to pass spending bills and avoid an "event"
  • He supports what Trump wants to regarding the wall
  • Wants to use normal appropriations to provide what is wanted

Pres. Trump is threatening to shut the government down if funding for "the wall" is not included.
