Stocks opening up compared to their European counterparts which are well in the red. US yields are marginally off the lows and we’ve got to wonder whether the overall negative sentiment in currencies at the moment will transition over to stocks during the session.
We have another round of Housing data at 15.00 with January new home sales expected to fall slightly to 0.400m vs 0.414m in December. As with previous housing reports we’ve seen some softness so the market may be more prepared if the number comes in worse.
