US stocks end the session mixed/off highs

S&P up 0.16%. Nasdaq down.

The major US stock indices are ending the first day of the new month with mixed results.

• The S&P index is closing up 4.11 points for 0.16% at 2579.37. The high reached at 2588.44 while the low extended to 2574.92
• The NASDAQ composite index is closing lower by -11.134 points or -0.17% at 6716.53 The high reached 6759.66. The low extended 2691.48.
• The Dow industrial average is ending up about 59 points or 0.25% at 23435. The high extended to 23517.71. The low reached 23388.91.

Lots of earnings after the close Including Facebook, Tesla, and QUALCOMM.
