Nasdaq leads the way
The US major indices are ending the session higher ahead of Apple earnings after the close:
- The Dow rose 108 points. It was up as much as 184 points at the highs
- THe S&P index finished up 13.68 points or 0.49%
- The NASDAQ did the best up 41.78 points or 0.55%
Apple will release earnings shortly (preview here). Expectations are for $2.18 per share on $53.34B of revenues. Apple shares closed at $190.24 up $0.38 or 0.2% on the day.
