S&P up 0.65%. Yield curve flattens
The major US indices remain near high levels for the day with the S&P up 0.65% and the Nasdaq composite index up 0.91%. The Dow which has triple digit declines in the last few days is up by 134 points or 0.75%.
In the US debt markets, the yield curve is flatter with the 2 year yield up 1 BP to 0.7461% while the 10 year yield is down by 2.5 BP to 1.5599%.
Crude oil futures have moved lower to $44.65 which is -2.79% or -$1.25 on the day. The Saudi oil minister says that there is unlikely to be any agreement on production at tomorrows meeting.
