spot gold is trading up $1.50 or 0.12% at $1288.06. That is lower than the high at $1295.70. The US dollar has moved higher of last hour erasing the gains in gold.

WTI crude oil futures are down $.96 or -23% at $51.63

The NZD remains the strongest, but the CAD has taken over as the weakest from the USD (from the start of the US trading day). The USD has erased much of its declines vs the EUR (now higher), JPY, CHF, CAD. It is still lower vs the NZD, GBP and AUD.
