Seeing buying off open though

The major US stock indices are opening in the red, but are seeing some modest buying in early trading.  Buyers and sellers are feeling each other out in the early going after the sharp rebound over the last 2 trading days.

  • The S&P is down -10.9 points or -0.41%
  • The Nasdaq is down -23 points or -0.32%
  • The Dow is down -105 points or -0.41%
In the US debt markets yields remain lower on the long end:

  • two-year 2.0938%, up 1.8 basis points
  • five-year 2.550%, -0.8 basis points
  • 10 year 2.8387, -2 basis points
  • thirty-year 3.1225%, -2.1 basis points
