S&P 500 up 8 points
The S&P 500 is up 8 points to 2808 after falling as low as 2785 in the early going. A great sign for the market would be if it could get back above 2816.
In the drop and pop the FX market largely ignored the swings but the commodity currencies are beginning to take notice of the rebound. USD/CAD is at the low of the day at 1.3401 and AUD and NZD are at the best levels.
