S&P 500 futures are up 9 points
The S&P 500 eeked out a 1 point gain on Thursday but are slated to add another 9 points at the open.
Individual stocks are volatile because we're in the heart of earnings season. Amazon shares were down almost 5% in the pre-market after missing on revenues and guidance. Shares of Visa were up about 4% on strong earnings.
