Clete Willems, the deputy director of the National Economic Council, to leave

Clete Williams plans to leave the White House in the coming weeks according to Larry Kudlow who undoubtedly told CNBC sources.

He served as lead negotiator at G7 and G20 summits but was also the top NEC official in China negotiations in place of Larry Kudlow, who was sick.

The report says the reason is frequent travel and a young family but you have to wonder if talks aren't going well or there is some kind of White House divide. Kudlow has been rumored to be on the way out the door for weeks as well.
