US wholesale inventories for July (preliminary). Last month +0.7%
The US wholesale inventories for July showed an increase of 0.4% for the month of July.
- Total inventories 601,231 vs 598,681 in June.
- Durable goods inventories rose 0.6%
- Non-durable goods inventories rose by 0.1%
- Retail inventories fell by -0.2%. The prior month showed a 0.6% gain
- Retail invenotories ex auto also fell -0.2% vs +0.5% last month. Motor vehicle and parts dealers showed a -0.1% decline (vs +0.6% last month).
- Last month wholesale inventories increased 0.6%. That is revised lower from the 0.7% previously reported.
