Softer oil prices have given USDCAD a leg up above 1.3100 again 20 May 2016
USDCAD has enjoyed a decent session given a helping hand by oil prices with Brent falling to $48.56 and WTI $48.00
USDCAD has posted 1.3133 after finding support/demand into 1.3080 and that takes the pair further away from the 1.2945 level that carries over $4.5bln of option expiry interest today.
Currently 1.3122 with Brent and WTI stabilizing a little at $48.58 and $48.02
Canadian CPI and retail sales data at 12.30 GMT the next event risk.
