Use of Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the US expected to be approved again as soon as this weekend

A CDC advisory panel emergency meeting coming up on Friday (US time) is expected to grant the approval.

• for use possibly as soon as this weekend
• its likely the approval will come with a warning about potential risks (rare blood clots) and perhaps some restrictions upon use

Use of the J&J vaccine is currently paused.
