The latest data shows the climbing continuing

July house prices in Vancouver show a market that's more-than recovered from a slump due to taxes on foreign buyers. Prices rose 2.1% in the month and 8.7% year-over-year. A single, detached home in the Great Vancouver Area sold for an average of C$1,612,400, up 114% from when the US housing market peaked 10 year ago.

Prices in Toronto are down about 12% since late April when a similar tax was introduced.
