Obama is on the tube touting his cap and trade bill. He calls on the US to emulate California in using 20% less electricity than the national average. The President those savings came without any adverse economic impacts. Really? Has he seen any of the statistics coming out of California in recent months? It teeters on the edge of default amid the fifth-highest unemployment rate in the US. If that is his sales pitch, god help us all.
