May has rejected the idea of targeting a customs union with the European Union. This had potential to shift her Brexit policy to win over the opposition Labour Party.
But, nope. It had to be a very long shot this proposal didn't it? Many in her own party would have gone off the deep end (well, even deeper of the deep end for a lot of 'em).
