Hi everyone, today is a big day for us. We've been working for months at rebuilding our site architecture for months. It hasn't been easy, especially with markets going haywire. We know that the changes might not look all that impressive on Day 1 but we're confident that as we roll out updates on Day 2 and afterwards that we're building something better.
Could we have ironed out a few bugs first? Probably. But at some point we needed to flip the switch. We're confident we can get the content out quicker than ever with thew new site. Everyone should notice that pages load much quicker now and stories update without refreshing.
Ryan wrote an excellent post to detail where we are and where we're headed, so please have a look.
I've also been blown away by the amount of feedback in Mike's post, that's the most comments we've ever had on a story. It shows once again, what an amazing and dedicated (and demanding) audience we have. We've put everything into this redesign and we're just as demanding as you are. We'll get there.
Update: We've been listening and we added the clocks on Day 2. We've also fixed a bunch of other things.
Update 2: We've added live charts, live quotes and special pages for both. We also fixed the bug where new posts gobbled up old ones and the text below the headlines disappeared.
