Holidays in the UK and US thin out markets

In terms of liquidity, at least France and Canada are in today. Although I'm sure everyone is expecting a slow one.

Draghi would be foolish to throw some kind of grenade into a thin market but you never know.

He's on the calendar at 1300 GMT and 1500 GMT. He's followed by Weidmann at 1700 GMT. That's it for scheduled news.

Politics is keeping things interesting today with May and Corbyn in full campaign mode with just over a week to go until election day.
