What's open and closed
US equity markets are set for a fall at the open as the Hong Kong bill signing news filters through. S&P 500 futures are down 6 points to 3147.
The New York Stock Exchange will close early at 1800 GMT (1 pm ET).
At the CME, stocks, rates and forex close at 1815 GMT with energy and metals going for another 30 minutes.
