This makes up for the lack of enthusiasm in the showing yesterday, with European indices mostly softer to start the week. That comes before the bit part recovery in US stocks, so part of the optimism here reflects that move. US futures are also sitting higher on the day so that is helping with S&P 500 futures up 0.5%.
